In a display of their commitment to the principles of Waqar-e-Amal (Dignity of Labour), members of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya in Asokore Circuit came together on Friday, June 6, 2023, after Jumah prayers to undertake a clean-up exercise at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital in Asokore. This initiative aimed to ensure a hygienic environment for patients and staff.
With a strong sense of community service, the Ahmadiyya youth dedicated their time and efforts to desilt the gutters located at the hospital's exit. Despite the unavailability of cleaning equipment, the young volunteers fearlessly took on the task. 12 Khuddam and three Atfal actively participated in the exercise.
The primary objective of the exercise was to enable the stagnant waters to flow freely and prevent the breeding of mosquitoes in and around the hospital premises.
Waqar-e-Amal, which emphasizes the dignity of labor, encourages members to offer themselves for community service. This philosophy instills a sense of responsibility and selflessness, fostering a spirit of service to humanity and the community at large.
The desilting exercise at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital is a testament to the unwavering dedication and enthusiasm of the Ahmadiyya youth in upholding the values of service, cleanliness, and social responsibility.
In attendance were Mr. Abubakar Adomako – Circuit Qaid, Mr. Baidoo Shakur Ampomah – Naib Circuit Qaid and Mr. Fadl Rahman Essel – Muhtamim Isha’at, MKA Ghana.
