After a break for some years, the annual Tarbiyyat class, a cornerstone of spiritual education within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, was successfully conducted over a 10-day period this year at Bustan-e-Ahmad for the Greater Accra region. This program, which is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and strengthening the bond between the youth of our community while enriching them with the teachings of Islam, saw an encouraging level of participation and achievement.

The primary focus of this year’s class was the completion of the Yassarnal Quran and the recitation of the Holy Quran. The program was designed to provide an immersive learning experience, where participants could deepen their understanding of the Quranic teachings while also polishing their recitation skills. In addition to these core areas, the class covered various aspects of Islamic knowledge like History, Hadith and Fiqah, ensuring that participants received a well-rounded spiritual education.

A total of 71 participants joined the class, reflecting a strong commitment to spiritual development within the community. Notably, 16 participants successfully completed the Yassarnal Quran by the end of the program, a significant milestone in their spiritual journey. Their dedication and hard work throughout the 10 days were commendable, and their achievement serves as an inspiration to others in the community.

Furthermore, 17 students made steady progress in their Quranic studies, advancing through pages 25 to 60 of the Yassarnal Quran. Their consistent efforts and determination to improve their understanding of the Quran are a testament to the potential these young ones have and their desire to advance in religious and spiritual endeavors.

The remaining participants, while not yet completing the Yassarnal Quran, focused on polishing their recitation skills. This emphasis on perfecting the recitation of the Holy Quran highlights our stress on the significance of not just understanding but also correctly articulating the sacred words of The Holy Quran.

The Tarbiyyat class once again proved to be a valuable platform for spiritual development within the community. The participants' dedication and the program's comprehensive nature ensured that everyone, regardless of their level, left with a stronger connection to their faith. The success of this year’s class reflects the continued guidance and blessings from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his helper), whose leadership continues to inspire the community towards spiritual excellence. At the end of the Tarbiyyat classes, a ceremony was held to honour these young ones with certificates to ensure that they recognized the value of the exercises that were carried out for their sake and that they did not see it as just a mere education. We hope that they will continue to see the value of Islam and give precedence to their faith over all matters Insha Allah.

As we look forward to future classes, the achievements of this year’s participants serve as a reminder of the importance of continuous learning and spiritual growth. We encourage many parents to involve their children and support this activity in the future. May Allah bless all who participated in this year’s Tarbiyyat class, and may their efforts be rewarded in this life and the Hereafter. Ameen.
