As the crescent began its gentle ascent into the night sky marking the end of Ramadan, the Khuddam of the Accra Zone eagerly anticipated the joyous occasion of Eid-ul Fitr. With just a few days left to the celebration, preparations were underway to transform the local park into a festive ground befitting the occasion, as always.
The Zonal Qaid called upon the Khuddam in the Accra zone to join hands in making the Eid festivities a memorable experience for everyone. On each of the 3 days, the Khuddam gathered early in the morning, armed with brooms, axes, shovels and buckets of water, ready to transform the prayer grounds.
Under the radiant morning sun, the Atfal energetically helped sweep away fallen leaves, and painted the trees and pillars. Meanwhile, the Khuddam worked diligently to set up colorful tents, Tarbiyyat & Tabligh banners, demarcations and what have you.
On the final day, the National, Regional and Zonal executives took the opportunity to address the participants on some vital Tarbiyyat issues. The Regional Qaid, Greater Accra, Mr. Ahmed Mensah addressed participants on the need to understand our financial obligations as members of Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya. The Adenta-Madina Circuit Missionary and President reiterated the need to always avail ourselves to help in the service of the Jama’at when the need arises. Muhtamim Ishaat, Fadl Rahman Essel also used the opportunity to remind officers to quickly write short stories/reports on all activities carried out under their jurisdiction, no matter how small they estimate it. An average of 35 Khuddam and 25 Atfal participated on each of the three days.
