The Ahmadiyya Muslim Male Students' Association of Ghana - University of Cape Coast Chapter had its second general meeting and election replete with spirituality, organizational efficacy, and fraternity on the 28th of July, 2024. The event summoned to discuss key issues and to vote in new leadership became a demonstration of the various vows of devotions and unison among members.

Members recited the Khuddam Pledge, in unison, which was again initiated by the President, Master Salim Ahmad Boaheng, himself due to the absence of ranking AMLA members. Recitation of the Khuddam Pledge made them reaffirm the values and principles that constitute the guiding force for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The meeting started with the recitation of Holy Qur'an verses presented by Master Abdul Rafiq Hussain which gave a reverent touch to the proceeding. Whereupon, the session began with a short adjournment to enable members to participate in the International Bai'at of UK Jalsa Salana 2024. We watched the live International Bai'at via the MTA website and YouTube channel in a live proceeding led by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba), supreme head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. This portion of the proceedings was symbolic of the united resolutions that take place within the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Returning to the general meeting, he introduced the chairperson, who gave a responding speech in appreciation of the importance of the day's agenda and the unity among the members. Master Faiz Nimo Darko then read the minutes from the previous meeting, which were subsequently deliberated upon and accepted by the members, thereby keeping the association's activities transparent and continuous in their sense.

The President of AMMSAG-UCC, Master Salim Ahmad Boaheng, made a presentation about the main agenda of what had taken place in the semester. This was supported by a session where there was the input of members regarding the academic year, such as what went right and what did not go so well. There was also a reflective session targeted at providing feedback that would help the association be stronger.

These were followed by the highly awaited elections. The elections were thus done on a democratic basis, where members elected their new officials for a successive takeover so that the association may have a smooth transition of leadership.

With the fraternal messages segment, we were graced by the following distinguished guests: Mr. Malik Hammond, Muhtamim Umoor-e-Talaba; Mr Abdul Hameed Mohammed Essuman, Naib Qaid, Central West Ilaqa; Mr Shafi Mohammed, Naib Qaid, Abura Zone; and Mr Alhassan Asamani, The Zonal Qaid, Abura. They shared their valuable words as they emphasized unity, dedication, and representative roles that Ahmadi Muslim students have to play in the religion. In fact, their presence during the event added a layer of significance and mentorship to the assembly.

Closing remarks were given by the chairperson, who commended members for active participation and encouraged further commitment to the association's goals. The closing prayer was led by Hafiz Khalid Aikins, who prayed for continued guidance and blessings upon the association.

This program was something more than a general meeting and election; it was a reaffirmation of faith, a celebration of unity, and the first concrete step in the assurance of a great future of success for AMMSAG-UCC. The event put into practice the importance of leadership, dedication, and learning within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to ensure a brighter future united.
