The 42nd Annual National Ijtema’a of the Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya, Ghana (MKAGH), has ended at Effiduase - Asokore in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region.

The 3-day rally attracted more than three thousand participants from all the sixteen administrative regions of Ghana.

The rally was also attended by delegates from five neighbouring West African countries led by their respective Sadran (Heads) or senior ranking members. The countries were Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, and Cote d’Ivoire.

Themed "The Ways of the Righteous," the Ijtema’a featured a keynote address by Dr. Anass Issah Adusei, who encouraged Khuddam to actively pursue both secular education and religious knowledge to become responsible citizens.

He emphasized that true righteousness encompasses success in both worldly and spiritual aspects, underlining the importance of using wealth and knowledge for the betterment of humanity.

Dr. Adusei also cautioned against actions that could undermine faith and pointed out that belief in witchcraft contradicted Quranic teachings.

In addition to the inspirational speeches, the Ijtema’a included a range of activities, such as moral lessons (dars) provided to participants after dawn and evening prayers. Academic and sporting competitions were organized for both Khuddam and Atfal, offering opportunities for intellectual and physical engagement.

A street procession by the Ahmadiyya youth displaying placards and banners of the beautiful teachings of Islam wound its way through the streets of Effiduase and Asokore.

Furthermore, during the event, Mr. Hanif Bipuah, the National President of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ghana, revealed that the Majlis had received approval from His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be his Helper), the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, to construct a national secretariat. He therefore called upon everyone to contribute to making the project a reality.

Another noteworthy development was the inauguration of MKAGH radio, a pioneering initiative in the history of the Majlis. This radio station operated on-site, enabling members to access various programs in multiple Ghanaian languages and providing Asokore residents with an additional source of information and entertainment.

The program was presided over by Naib Ameer I, Alhaj Wahab Issah, on behalf of the Ameer and Missionary-In-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana. He was joined by the General Secretary, Alhaj Abass Wilson, the Ashanti Regional President, Mr. Ibrahim Jamil Badu, and several past national executives.
