One of the highlights of the 42nd Annual National Ijtema'a of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ghana was the establishment of the MKAGh radio (106.5 MHz FM), a pioneering initiative in the history of the Majlis.

The on-site radio station aired several programs during the just-ended Annual Ijtema'a. One such program bordered on the importance of children's development, education, and community involvement.

The studio panelists were Maulvi Hafiz Nasim Nyame, Muhtamim Tarbiyyat (Northern Sector), and Saeed Bin Usman, Muhtamim Atfal, who shared valuable insights into the role of parents, religious leaders, and educators in nurturing children.

Maulvi Nyame stated that the responsibility of fostering the growth and development of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community members fell not only on the Khuddam (youth) but also on the parents. He called on all members to unite and support the children's journey to reach their full potential.

Regarding the collaboration with circuit missionaries, Maulvi Hafiz Nasim Nyame shared that the Sadr had recently met with missionaries and discussed their involvement in the growth and development of the Atfal and Khuddam. He commended the missionaries for their efforts in grooming Atfal and expressed optimism about the future of the Atfal.

As the school year approaches, Maulvi Hafiz Nasim Nyame advised the youth to prioritize education and excel in religious and secular subjects. He mentioned plans to recognize and reward students who perform well academically.

Saeed Bin Usman echoed this sentiment, highlighting that the recent conferences held by the Khuddam, Lajna Imaillah, and Ansarullah (Women's and Men Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community) are a testament to the community's collective effort. He stressed that everyone had a role in nurturing the children and fulfilling their responsibilities to Allah.

Incentives for outstanding Atfal were also discussed, with plans to reward participants in various activities, including written quizzes and oral recitations. These incentives aim to motivate youth to excel and encourage their active participation in future Ijtema’aat.

Saeed Bin Usman highlighted improvements in this year's Ijtema'a, such as involving Atfal in Adhan (call to prayer) and special sessions for only Atfal.

The discussion also touched upon the moral upbringing of children. Both guests emphasized the importance of starting early and providing religious education alongside secular knowledge. They urged parents to encourage their children to attend religious classes and the support from missionaries.

The program was moderated by Raza Mohammed Bin Ahmed of the Central Region.
