Spreading of Islam Ahmadiyya according to our spiritual leaders is the only way the world can be save from the looming catastrophe. Each member and organization of the community is always striving in achieving this through their activities. AMMSAG KNUST on 1st June, 2024 strongly contributed to this through their fourth program for the semester ‘Waqar-e-amal and Leaflet Shearing.

The cold morning weather resonated a zeal to put our physical faculties to serve in the course of Allah. Between 6:30am to 7:00am was given to members to converge at Conti bus stop, and with 22 members present at the end of the duration, we transported ourselves to Emina Community which began with a prayer from Mr. Usman Khalid Sekyi (Isha’at). Twenty minutes of motion got us to our destination, our host welcomed us with the tools and materials needed to carry out with the exercise, fusing members into the environment and elimination a sense of being a stranger. This reinforced the zeal of members to involve themselves actively in the exercise.

Mr. Mathew, in charge of sanitation, led the cleaning exercise by showing specific places that needed effective cleaning. Sweeping, clearing of weeds and cleaning of window nets was the touches the environment needed to improve on its serenity. The work was effortlessly executed because of the strong collaboration that exist among members.

After the work, breakfast was served to replenish the used energy, which was followed by leaflet shearing. In this, Master Bilal Boateng (in-charge of Review of Religion Ashanti Region) presented twenty copies of the Review of Religion literature to AMMSAG KNUST. Mr. Abdul Malik Bosomtwe (AMMSAG KNUST president) led in handing over the literature to the Head of Account Office, which further paved way for an interaction, opening an opportunity to enlighten more on the literature, Islam and Ahmadiyya. At this point, the main agenda for the program had been fulfilled successfully, owing to this, a closing prayer from Mr. Khalid officially ended the program.
