In the month of Ramadan, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya) Ghana embarked on a Chanda Tour across the Ashanti Region. Led by Mr. Abdul Wahab Adusei, Naib Sadr, Middle Sector – MKA Ghana, Mr. Alhassan Ofori, Qaid Ilaqa Ashanti, and regional representatives, the tour was aimed at fostering spiritual growth and community engagement and emphasizing the importance of sacrifice during this sacred month.

The tour began with visits to various zones within the region. On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the team went to the Kumasi North Zone, where they interacted with members from Amoawi, Nkawie, Asofua, Achina, and Anyinasusu Circuits.

This initial leg of the tour saw active participation from 68 Khuddam and 27 Atfal, who listened to the message of sacrifice and devotion shared by the delegation.

The team then proceeded to the Kumasi South Zone on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, where they visited Asafo and the Pramso circuits. The team engaged with members, stressing the significance of contributing to the Chanda collection, especially during Ramadan. The sessions included discussions and clarifications on various aspects of the collection, which went well with the attendees.

The Oforikrom Zone welcomed the delegation on the same day, further reinforcing the core message of sacrifice and commitment to the community. Despite the modest turnout at Sawaba Mosque, the interaction was impactful, emphasizing the spiritual essence of Ramadan and the importance of collective contributions.

The team then went to the Sekyere East and West Zones, comprising Baworo Circuit and Mampong Mosque, among others.

These visits, marked by congregational prayers and enlightening discussions, provided members with a deeper understanding of their role in supporting the initiatives of the Majlis.

The journey ended with a visit to the Obuasi Zone on Friday, April 5. After jumuah prayers, the delegation met members from Obuasi East, Obuasi West, Pomposo, and Amuduroasi mosques and implored them on the significance of sacrifice and the blessings inherent in Ramadan. This was followed by a question and answer session, allowing members to seek clarification and deepen their understanding of their responsibilities.
