The Ahmadiyya Muslim Male Students Association of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Chapter (AMMSAG-KNUST) were crowned winners of a football tournament played in Kumasi on Saturday, 17th June 2023 at Ayeduase R/C JHS School Park.

They won all their matches against the Ghana Methodist Students Union (GHAMSU), the National Union of Baptist Students (NUBS) and beat the National Union of Presbyterian Students (NUPS-G) 4:1 in the final match.

The football tournament kicked off with an electrifying atmosphere as passionate supporters cheered on their respective teams.

The football tournament was aimed at promoting friendly competition, sportsmanship, and unity among AMMSAG members and other student bodies on campus.

At the end of the tournament, Hamza Saeed, Qaid of AMMSAG-KNUST, expressed his excitement, stating, "We worked hard for this tournament, and winning all our matches is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of our players. We are thrilled with this achievement."

The head coach for NUPS-G, said, "Although we didn't win, it was a great experience playing against such skilled opponents. Congratulations to AMMSAG-KNUST on their well-deserved victory”.
