Mr. Abdul-Shakoor Abakah, Muhtamim ‘Umumi, and Mr. Saeed Bin Usman, Muhtamim Atfal, had the honor of representing Ghana at the 49th Annual National Ijtema’a (Rally) of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Nigeria, held in Owo, from 7th to 10th June 2023.

In a goodwill message shared at the climax of the rally, the Ghanaian representatives conveyed their warm wishes to the Ahmadiyya youth in Nigeria and praised them for their efforts in upholding the community's values and promoting the message of "Love for All, Hatred for None."

While in Nigeria, the Ghanaian delegates participated in a number of activities including the procession through the host community, Owo, to spread the message of peace and the true essence of Islam, granting an interview on MKAN radio as well as presenting a certificate on the concluding session of the rally.

 

The 49th Annual National Ijtema’a focused on "Upholding the Institution of Khilafat through Activation of Nizam-e-Jama'at." Over 1700 participants from 16 states across Nigeria participated in the convention, seeking to deepen their understanding of these principles and inspire active participation within the Muslim community.

The participation of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Ghana further strengthened the bond between the two neighboring countries, contributing to the spirit of cooperation and support among the Ahmadiyya community in West Africa. The Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Uganda, Mr. Ssenfuka Abdul-Malik, and three of his National Aamla members were present.

The Ghanaian delegation on 22nd July 2023, presented a plaque of participation from Sadr MKA Nigeria, Mr. Abdur Roqib Akinyemi, to Sadr MKA Ghana, Mr. Hanif Bipuah, during a national Aamila meeting at Osu in Accra.
