The Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya (MKA), also known as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization of Ghana, stands as a beacon of hope and unity within the larger tapestry of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Founded in 1938 by the esteemed Hadhrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad, the second successor of the Promised Messiah, this noble organization embraces young men between the ages of 15 and 40, fostering a spirit of brotherhood and devotion. MKA lovingly oversees the Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya (MAA), guiding the younger generation, aged 7 to 15, in their journey of faith and character.
Our mission is to nurture and enlighten our members and the Atfalul Ahmadiyya in the true teachings of Islam, instilling in them an unwavering love for Allah and for Hazrat Khataman Nabiyyin Muhammad Mustafa (saw). We strive to kindle the spirit of service towards Islam, our homeland, and humanity, always seeking their welfare with open hearts.
MKA Ghana, akin to its global counterparts, flourishes under the compassionate guidance of the Khalifatul Masih, the spiritual leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Our organization is lovingly administered by a National Aamila, led by a dedicated National President (Sadr), with our cherished headquarters nestled in the heart of Accra. This vibrant assembly consists of passionate young men from all walks of life, each heading various departments and regions, united in purpose and faith. Beyond the Sadr and his devoted Deputies, 17 departments and 12 regions are thoughtfully led by individual members, each contributing to our collective vision.
Each of our 17 departments, replicated in the 12 regions, is steered by a Muhtamim (Secretary), while each region flourishes under the guidance of a Qaid Ilaqa (Regional President). The same structure cascades down to the Circuit/District (Dil’a) level, where passionate Nazims (Regional Secretaries) and Qaid Dil’a (Circuit Presidents) work harmoniously. In 2013, our family counted over 10,000 active members, a testament to our unwavering commitment and love for one another. As the Majlis year unfolds from November 1st to October 31st, we craft a Consolidated Programme, a tapestry of activities and initiatives woven together to inspire and uplift our community.
Among the cherished activities undertaken by MKA Ghana are a myriad of initiatives designed to enrich our lives and strengthen our bonds, nurturing the very essence of our faith and fellowship.
As members of Majlis Khuddāmul Aḥmadiyya Ghana, this is our pledge to our faith and country.
