On March 31, 2024, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Male Students’ Association of Ghana at the University of Cape Coast (AMMSAG-UCC) gathered for its highly anticipated second general meeting, orchestrated by the proficient Master of Ceremonies, Nasirudeen Ghartey. The event unfolded with a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose.
The session commenced with an informal setting, skilfully conducted by Ibrahim Shamsudeen, fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees. The hall resonated with spiritual fervour as Ibrahim Shamsudeen delivered a soul-stirring recitation from the Holy Qur’an, invoking contemplation and reverence among the audience.
The meeting officially began with Issah Dawood leading the opening prayer, seeking divine blessings and guidance for the proceedings ahead. Following this, the Khuddam President administered the Khuddam Pledge, reaffirming members’ commitment to service and brotherhood.
Faiz Darko meticulously presented the minutes of the previous meeting, ensuring transparency and accountability in AMMSAG-UCC’s proceedings. Members actively engaged in deliberations, signifying their dedication to upholding the organization’s integrity.
The gathering resonated with melodious songs of praise, led by representatives from the SRC and Amamoma Jama’at, fostering a sense of unity and spiritual upliftment among attendees. Mr. Abdul Raheem Essel then delivered the financial report, meticulously outlining AMMSAG-UCC’s prudent stewardship of resources and commitment to fiscal transparency.
President Salim Ahmad Boaheng took centre stage to address the main agenda, highlighting significant achievements and plans for the future. Notable accomplishments included the successful organization of the Freshers’ orientation, the Start-Rite Conference, and the historic journey to Jalsa Salana 2024. The President also emphasized upcoming events, promising an enriching experience for all members.
During the semester under review, AMMSAG-UCC witnessed remarkable milestones, such as the Journey to Jalsa Salana 2024, marking a historic moment for the association. Additionally, the Iftar Donations initiative garnered overwhelming support from donors, reflecting the community’s generosity and compassion.
Looking forward to the next semester, President Salim Ahmad Boaheng outlined a power-packed agenda, including an excursion, AMMSAG week celebrations featuring symposiums, Kuluu Jamee’aa, and sporting activities.
A fraternal message underscored the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving shared goals, inspiring members to work together towards collective progress. Any Other Business (AOB) provided a platform for additional contributions and concerns from attendees, ensuring all voices were heard and valued.
The chairperson’s closing remarks encapsulated the spirit of the meeting, expressing gratitude for members’ active participation and commitment to AMMSAG-UCC’s mission. Mr. Abdul Rauf Sumaila Fere-ong delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging all individuals involved in making the event a resounding success.
As the meeting drew to a close, Hafiz Khalid Aikins led the closing prayer, seeking blessings and prosperity for the association and its members.
 
The second general meeting of AMMSAG-UCC was not just a gathering; it was a testament to the strength of brotherhood, the power of collaboration, and the unwavering commitment to excellence among its members. With hearts united and spirits uplifted, they march forward, bound by faith and driven by purpose.
