REGIONAL WAQARE AMAL BY THE CENTRAL-WEST REGION

The Regional Headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Central Region, organized a waqare amal exercise in Mankessim along the Mankessim-Accra main road on the 1st of June 2025, which started at 7:00 am.

The Regional Missionary and his President paid a courtesy call to the Regional Minister upon his approval. During their conversation, the Regional Missionary pledged to organize a waqare amal in Mankessim to help curb the sanitation problem of the area.

Both Regional Missionary, Maulvi Hameed Tahir and his President, Alhaj Abdul Hakeem Koomson, were present for the exercise. Also, both Mankessim Zonal Missionary, Maulvi Hafiz Abdul Samad Boateng and his President, Alhaj Nana Mohammed Odoom as well as Zonal Missionaries for Ekumfi, Maulvi Hafiz Mohammed Arkoh and Saltpond, Maulvi Abdul Hameed Ismail Baifi present. Again, Circuit Missionaries for Saltpond, Mankessim and Baifikrom also took part in the exercise. Some students from both Jamia Ahmadiyya International and Ekumfi T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School were present. Members from the nearby three zones, namely Mankessim, Saltpond and Ekumfi Zones, also participated in the exercise. Distilling of the gutters and sweeping of the advantage points were undertook in this exercise. The exercise came to an end at 5:00 pm.

The exercise recorded a turnout of about 200 members, of which 173 were Khuddam members.
