Report on Health Walk, 2024

– A Day to Remember

On December 25, 2024, the sixth annual health walk of the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Kasoa Zone brought together over 400 participants for an inspiring day of fitness, fraternity, and healthy living. Beginning at the Insaaniyya Mosque at 6:30 am, the walk aimed to promote physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and preparation for the upcoming Jalsa Salana Ghana 2025.

Event Highlights
1. The Walk

• The health walk kicked off at the Insaaniyya Mosque and proceeded through Kasoa’s main streets along the Kasoa–Bawjiase road, culminating at the Kasoa Eid Grounds (YOO MART).
• Led by the Naib Sadr of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Ghana, Eng. Ibrahim Arkoh, alongside some National Aamila members, the walk saw active participation from members of the Majlis Ansarullah, Lajna Imaillah, and Atfal.
• Notable National Aamila participants included:

  • Muawin Sadr and the President of Kasoa Zone, Nasir Ahmad Bonsu
  • Naib Sadr – South East, Irfan Easah Hammond
  • Muhtamim Mal, Mr. Ishaque Mohammed Essie
  • Naib Muhtamim Mal, Mr. Alhassan Baidoo
  • Add. Muhtamim Sihat-E-Jismane, Mr. Tahir Ahmad Abekah
  • Muhtamim Tajneed, Mr. Saeed Kow Sam
  • Naib Muhtamim 'Umumi, Mr. Ishmeal Owusu Ntiamoah
  • Add. Muhtamim 'Umumi, Mr. Ahmed Kwaku Mensah
  • Qaid Ilaqa, Greater Accra, Mr. Yahaya Nkrumah
2. Tabligh Efforts

• During the walk, about 200 copies of The Review of Religions magazine were distributed to the public by the Tabligh team, accompanied by various Tabligh activities.

3. Activities at the Eid Grounds

• The two-hour walk concluded at the Kasoa Eid Grounds with Stretching and Aerobics sessions to energize participants.
• Professionals from Millennium Hospital conducted a Health Screening and Health Talk session emphasizing the importance of preventive care.
• Additional activities included sporting events, fun games, and a cooking competition organized by the Majlis.

Leadership Remarks

Eng. Ibrahim Arkoh, Naib Sadr Administration, highlighted the importance of regular exercise in improving health and fostering fraternity within the Jama’at. In his interview with MTA Ghana, he encouraged members to prioritize physical fitness and community bonding.

Mr. Ahmed Buabeng, Zonal Qaid of Kasoa Zone, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and supported the event. He emphasized the importance of staying active in Jama’at activities to strengthen both physical and spiritual health.
