The Saltpond Circuit Khuddam assembled with great enthusiasm and devotion for their annual Circuit Ijtema’a on 16th February 2025. The event was marked by a spirit of unity, reflection, and renewed commitment to the service of Islam.
This year’s theme, “Dedication to the Cause of Islam: The Needed Sacrifice of Our Time,” deeply resonated with the participants. It served as a clarion call, reminding them that the progress and success of Islam require unwavering commitment, perseverance, and selfless sacrifice.
The Circuit Qaid and Circuit Missionary warmly received distinguished regional Amla members, whose presence added significance to the occasion:
• Mr. Hameed Essuman, Naib Qaid, Central West Region, and • Mr. Arafat, Umumi, Central West Region.
Their participation inspired the Khuddam and reinforced the importance of structured leadership and dedication in serving Islam and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
Commencement of the Ijtema’aThe Ijtema’a commenced with the soulful recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a beautifully rendered Urdu poem that set the spiritual tone for the gathering.
The Zonal Missionary then led a heartfelt opening prayer, seeking Allah’s guidance and blessings for a meaningful and impactful event.
The highlight of the Ijtema’a was the series of powerful and spiritually uplifting addresses, each designed to strengthen the faith, discipline, and commitment of the participants.
The keynote address was delivered by the Circuit Missionary, Mualim Mustapha Entsie, who passionately expounded on the Ijtema’a theme. He urged the Khuddam to recognize that true dedication requires personal sacrifice, service, and an unwavering commitment to the cause of Islam and the Ahmadiyya Jama’at. His words ignited a sense of purpose and responsibility among the attendees.
Following this, the Zonal Missionary for Saltpond Zone, Maulvi Abdul Hamid Ismail Baafi, delivered an equally compelling speech, emphasizing: “True dedication is measured by one's willingness to surrender their time, energy, and resources in service of the faith.”
His address underscored that every act of sacrifice—no matter how small—plays a crucial role in the propagation and strengthening of Islam. The Khuddam reflected deeply on this message, understanding that their personal contributions were vital to the growth and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
As the Ijtema’a neared its conclusion, the Khuddam stood together in brotherhood and devotion, making a collective pledge to rededicate themselves to the service of Islam. With a renewed sense of purpose, they vowed to sacrifice their time, talents, and resources in spreading the message of peace, love, and compassion.
The event culminated in a profound and spiritually uplifting closing prayer, led by the Zonal Missionary, bringing the Ijtema’a to a powerful close.
With hearts filled with renewed zeal and determination, the Khuddam of Saltpond Circuit departed with a deep sense of purpose. They left with the firm resolve to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the service of Islam, understanding that the path of sacrifice is the path to true success.
