On the bright morning of 21st March 2025, the Somanya Mosque buzzed with anticipation. Majlis Khuddam of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association gathered under the banner of faith, eager to explore the theme: Who is an Ahmadi Muslim?
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Muhammad O.F. Adusei (Muawin Sadr I.T), who served as the chairman. The solemn recitation of the Holy Quran, led by Muallim Saeed Arhin, filled the mosque with tranquility, setting the perfect tone for the day's deliberations.
After the spiritual opening, Saliu Abdullai (Somanya Circuit Qaid) delivered a heartfelt Welcome Address, reminding attendees of the importance of unity and unwavering faith in Allah. The atmosphere grew even more uplifting when the Somanya Circuit performed a melodious Song of Praise, reinforcing the day's theme.
Then came the highlight of the rally-the Keynote Address by Mr. Alpha Nii Dodu (Koforidua Zonal Qaid). His words resonated deeply as he spoke about the true essence of being an Ahmadi Muslim. He urged the youth to live by example, letting their faith be a guiding light in society. "Ahmadiyyat is not just a name," he emphasized, "it is a way of life, a responsibility to uphold truth and righteousness."
As the echoes of his message settled, the Koforidua Zonal Aamila took center stage, rendering another Song of Praise that reignited the spirit of devotion among participants.
The Fraternal Messages that followed were just as inspiring. Mr. Hasan Gabo (Former Circuit President) encouraged the Khuddam to remain resolute in their faith, emphasizing that dedication and hard work are key in strengthening the association. Then, Maulvi Aayatur-Rahman Abdullah (Koforidua Zonal Missionary) took the stage. His words were a beacon of wisdom-he reminded the audience that good habits and moral conduct are treasures that should be nurtured. "If Allah has gifted you with a good heart and character," he advised, "capitalize on it and use it to benefit those around you, for in that lies true success, both in this world and the hereafter."
As the rally neared its end, the chairman, Mr. Muhammad O.F. Adusei, delivered his Closing Remarks, touching on a crucial aspect of faith-financial sacrifice in the cause of Allah. He described it as the greatest investment a believer can make, promising divine blessings and prosperity not just for the giver, but for generations to come.
With spirits lifted and hearts filled with renewed faith, the event concluded with a Closing Prayer, once again led by Maulvi Aayatur-Rahman Abdullah, seeking Allah's guidance and blessings for all present.
