T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi, holds Career Guidance and Abstinence Summit.

The Shuba Umur-e-Talaba in collaboration with Shuba Tarbiyyat Rishta-nata, organized the Muslim students in T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi, for a Career Guidance and Abstinence Summit on the 15th day of June, 2025, with 31 males and 24 females.

The program started with Tilawat by Master Masroor Ahmed Oppong (Student Imam).

The first Speaker was in the person of Maulvi Abdul Hakeem Agyemang-Boateng. (Kumasi South Zonal Missionary) delivered on the need to abstain oneself as a believer from all social vices, especially acts that lead to fornication. He mentioned particularly that the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is one of the ways that leads to fornication. Advice was given that they should not get closer to such acts even if their colleagues who indulge in acts like that see them to be old-fashioned or archaic. Telling lies, betting, cheating during exams and indiscipline were all mentioned to the students to abstain from. He added that at their level, they should try to pay particular attention to salat, for that is the main reason we have been created in this world.

Hafiz Maulvi Aaytur-Rahman Abdallah, being the second speaker, delivered on the Career Guidance section of the program. He made it in the form of questions and answers, where he first gave a general overview of what a career is all about and the benefits of entering careers that will be beneficial not only to the student but to the whole Jamaat as well. Students were then given the chance to ask questions related to careers they wish to pursue in future, and they were answered accordingly by the speaker and other dignitaries present. Naib Sadr used the opportunity to explain in detail some of the careers and their benefits. The students’ attention was drawn to the fact that the career they choose should not take them away from the main reason for which they are being created, that is to worship Allah.

Alhamdulillah the program was graced by Naib Sadr Middle Sector of Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya Ghana in the person of Mr. Abdul Wahab Adusei, Regional Qaid, Mr. Alhassan Ofori, Naib Regional Qaid, Mr. Malik Owusu, Muhtamim Khidmat-e-khalq, Abdul Wahab Ibrahim, Muhtamim Tabligh, Hafiz Maulvi Aaya-tur Rahman Abdallah, Muhtamim Umur-e-Talaba, Mr. Abdul Malik Hammond, Naib Muhtamim Umur-e-Talaba, Naeem-Rahman Angekyie Dzakatoh, Ashanti Regional Nazim Umur-e-talaba, Abdul Karim Ghaniyu, Maulvi Abdul Hakeem Agyemang-Boateng and The Review of Religions representative, Bilal Boateng.

Alhamdulillah the program successfully came to an end at 03:25 pm.
