Wa West Zone Held Its First Zonal Amila Meeting for the Majlis Year

The Office of the Zonal Qaid recently convened the first Zonal Amila meeting of the new Majlis year. The gathering took place at the Suuriyiri Mosque on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 6 p.m., immediately following Maghrib Salat.

Eleven (11) new office bearers attended the meeting, which the Wa West Zonal Qaid inaugurated. The Qaid welcomed the new Amila members and introduced them to their respective offices. He further elaborated on the roles and responsibilities of the new Amila members in their respective portfolios.

All the office bearers were taken through a brief orientation on their duties in their respective offices, as well as the mode of reporting activities at the end of each month. The Qaid then briefed the attendees on the upcoming National Conference, scheduled for January 9-11, 2025.

The Naib Qaid stressed the importance of meeting expectations in their new positions, and the new Amila members were allowed to share their thoughts and inputs.

The meeting came to an end a few minutes before the Isha prayers, and members said congregational prayers afterward to bring the whole sitting to a blessed end. Alhamdulillah!
