Inside the Life-Changing Nairobi Refresher Course for African Khuddam Leaders
In the rolling hills of Nairobi, Kenya, as birds sang over quiet dawns and the air still carried the freshness of April rain, a quiet revolution was underway. From April 12th to 13th, 2025, leaders from eight African countries gathered — not in suits and pomp, but in humility and service — for a Refresher Course that would change everything.
Ghana’s delegation was led by Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, flanked by:
They stood shoulder-to-shoulder with representatives from:
But what brought them together? It wasn’t mere administrative formality. This was a command from the highest spiritual authority: a directive from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) through his Secretary in charge of Khuddam affairs — a divinely-inspired call to reawaken leadership with purpose.
For two intense days, these Sadran and Muhtamimeen immersed themselves in deep, comprehensive training. Not just about roles and responsibilities, but about mindset, legacy, and spirituality. They examined every structure of Majlis — from Naib Sadran to secretarial duties, from department coordination to grassroots mobilization.
The course was rigorous, but it was more than that — it was sacred. As one participant put it, “It felt less like training and more like a divine orientation.”
Moments of reflection were frequent. Questions like:
The sincerity in the room was palpable. Some wept. Others resolved to change. And all walked away with a fire reignited.
What was most beautiful, though, was the unity in diversity. Different languages, different cultures, different contexts — but the same faith, the same obedience, the same love for Khilafat. “Though we come from distant lands,” said Sadr Ghana, “we beat with one heart — and that heart belongs to Khilafat.”
For the Ghanaian delegation, it was both a privilege and a responsibility. They returned with renewed clarity, a deeper understanding of their sacred trust, and a vow to pass this torch to every Aamila member back home.
As one attendee from Uganda rightly said, “When Africa rises in sincerity, the Jama’at will feel it globally.”
This refresher course wasn’t an event to tick off. It was a seed planted — and now, we watch and water it with action.
May Allah Almighty bless this historic initiative, multiply its fruits, and guide every Khadim leader in Africa to serve with truth, humility, and unwavering love for Khilafat. Ameen.
