In response to Waqar-e-Amal, Ghana’s directive, on Thursday, 7th December, 2023 MKA Agona East circuit in the Agona Zone of Central East Region held a Public Clean-up exercise which took place at Mensakrom principal Street from 7:00 am to 10:00 am which lasted for 3 hours. Some of the activities undertaken were, draining of choked gutters stretching close to 400 meters long. Other activities that also took place were sweeping, collecting rubbish, and weeding.
15 Khuddam and 6 Atfal participated in this noble exercise. Personalities present were Muallim Mohammed Adam, Agona East circuit Missionary, MKA, National Waqar -e- Amal Officer, Mr. Yusuf Ishaque, Circuit Qaid, Mr. Musah Ibrahim, and other zonal and circuit officers.
The clean-up exercise was part of the publicity towards the Ahmadiyya Centenary Celebration of Ghana in 2024.
The activity was one of a kind in the sense that no other religious group has ever carried out such a massive clean-up exercise that has covered the whole community except for the Ahmadiyya Jamaat.
The Community was pleased with our service and called for more of its kind in the coming years.
