To mark the occasion of the Centenary celebration of the Ghana Jamat in 2024, the office of Waqar-e-Amal, MKA has mandated all circuits (Muqameen) across the country to Undertake Public Clean-up exercise
In light of this directive, MKA, Agona west circuit in Agona Zone of the Central East Region held a Public Clean-up exercise which took place at Swedru-Nkubem principal Street. Choked gutters stretching close to 100 meters were drained. This exercise was done on Saturday, 9th December 2023 from 6:00 am to 8:30 am. Other activities that also took place were raking, sweeping, collecting rubbish, and weeding.
31 Khuddam and 3 Atfal participated. Personalities present were Mr. Emmanuel Fobe, Municipal Director-National Youth Authority, Hon. Kweku J E Adam, Assembly Man for Swedru-Nkubem electoral area, MKA, National Waqar -e- Amal Officer, Mr. Yusuf Ishaque, Zonal Waqar-e-Amal Nazim, Mr. Sadick Amoah, Agona West circuit missionary, Muallim Abubakar Sadiq Bin Siraj, Agona Zonal Qaid, Agona west circuit Qaid, and other zonal and circuit Amila members.
After successfully concluding the exercise, the Swedru-Nkubem community members applauded our efforts in keeping the community clean and wished the jamaat a happy Centenary Celebration.
