The Greater Accra Region (Ilaqa) is one of the 11 administrative regions (Ilaqa) under the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat system in Ghana. The programme of activities drawn for the year by the National Aamila (Executive) is implemented at the regional level. The MKA is headed at the regional level by the Qaid Ilaqa (Regional President) who together with his Regional Aamila execute the planned programme of activities within the Zones (Dil’a) in the region. The Greater Region has 3 Zones and each is headed by a Zonal Qaid who supervises the Khuddam with his Aamila. The Regional Headquarters is at Accra.
There are five circuits in Accra Zone namely Darkuman, Nima, Abbosey Okai, Achimota, and Adenta/Madina. Mr. Iddris Ninsin was appointed the first Zonal Qaid and remained the Qaid till 2021. In 2017, he hosted the National Khuddam Ijtema’a at the Labone Senior High School. Mr. Ninsin was instrumental in drafting of a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for the organization of MKA Ijtema’at. He organized Waqar-e-Amal exercises at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, National Police Hospital and the Agblogbloshi market. His Naib was Mr. Ahmed Kwaku Mensah.
The Kasoa (Ilaqa) is one of the 3 administrative Zones (Ilaqa) under Greater Accra. Kasoa has 5 circuit namely: Kasoa North, Kasoa West, Kasoa South, Lomnava and Weija -Bortiano. The programme of activities drawn for the year by the National Aamila (Executive) is implemented at the regional level. The MKA is headed at the regional level by the Qaid Ilaqa (Regional President) who together with his Regional Aamila execute the planned programme of activities within the Circuits (Di’la) in the region. The Regional Headquarters is at Accra.
The Tema (Ilaqa) is one of the 3 administrative Zones (Ilaqa)of Greater Accra. It ha 3 circuit, namely: (3 Circuits/Muqam) Tema Central, Ashaiman, And Tema Newtown. The programme of activities drawn for the year by the National Aamila (Executive) is implemented at the regional level. The MKA is headed at the regional level by the Qaid Ilaqa (Regional President) who together with his Regional Aamila execute the planned programme of activities within the Circuits (Di’la) in the region. The Regional Headquarters is at Accra.
